Peace Islands Institute (PII) aspires to facilitate a forum of mutual respect and collaboration, both welcoming and accepting varied viewpoints and voices with the intent to develop original and alternative perspectives on vital issues that our society is facing, generate solutions to these issues, support successful practices, thus promoting education, friendship and harmony and acting as an island of peace for all peoples in a society of different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

Peace Island is a fictional island located in Maine. It is a large game world that includes four, distinct communities, woodlands, scenic coastlines, and secluded farmlands. Vision
In a diverse world, where even the farthest point is a click away, every culture, race, religion, tradition and nation become neighbors. We have to live and interact together in this “global island” we call Earth. Peace Islands Institute (PII) serves to act as the soil for fruitful dialogue, peace, and civil service just as the soil on this “global island” gives forth flowers of different colors, scents and shapes. PII envisions a world becoming an island of peace in the ocean of our universe; a community in which people from all walks of life interact with each other and cooperate to serve their communities, thereby strengthening civil society and promoting the development of human values.
Peace Island Cat
There’s been a handful of VR titles that let you play as cat, such as Catlateral Damage, Catify VR and Kitten’d. But Peace Island is very different from those that I have mentioned: this is an open world adventure game, and you play as a gang of cats.
Peace Island Game
Developed by indie developer Eric Blumrich and his small team, Peace Island has been in development for slightly more than a year now, and things seem to be going rather well. You assume the role of a feline named Elizabeth, who lives on a remote Maine island community. You were in a pet container, being transported by your human slave to the vet, and you were sleeping. Suddenly, the ever-changing tableau of alien color and shape outsides faded, waking you up and that’s when you discover the door to your cage was open. You exits, only to find that there’s no humans everywhere.
That’s the backstory of this title. You emerged out of the building, but you soon realize that fortunately, there’s still life in this world, as you encounter other cats.
Because this is a title where you play as a cat, there’s little combat action. Besides your fellow cat companions, you will also encounter other animals (for example, deers, mice, birds and even insects) too, some may not be as welcoming as you thought. You are a cat, but your charm only works on humans I guess. So you will have to earn their confidence over time to unlock new side quests and new area to explore.
Your overall objective? To uncover what actually happened that causes the disappearance on the humans.
Peace Island features a rather large game world with many interesting points. The developer revealed the map on kickstarter, indicating that there are places such as Greenwood Farms, Ellison Heights, LaFlamme Fishworks, Picnic Point, Catnip Headlight and more. In terms of content, the game is said to also contain over 50 structures, including homes, studios, offices, abandoned factories and more.

Besides a Kickstarter page (where you can learn more), the developer also has a Patreon where you can contribute to the game development and get the latest update on the development from Eric Blumrich. In fact, there’s going to be a Q&A Livestream on this Sunday, 8pm EST going by the Patreon page.
Peace Island Mac Download
Peace Island is currently under development for PC, Mac and Oculus VR system. There’s no release date announced, but the developer confessed recently that the planned beta won’t be out for at least another 3 months, but the fire isn’t dimmed.
